Country singer Brantley Gilbert brought his Devil Don't Sleep Tour to Riverbend Music Center on Sept. I would definitely go back to see Brantley Gilbert if he return to Niagara. Rating: 5 out of 5 I was an awesome concert by Daigle on 2/13/23 OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino - Niagara Falls. He put on one of the best shows I’ve seen! He interacted with the crowd the whole time and had so much energy! I will definitely be going to see him again Rating: 5 out of 5 Best show I’ve seen by Kay on 2/13/23 OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino - Niagara Falls.Rating: 5 out of 5 BESTEST YET by JLS on 2/13/23 Toyota Oakdale Theatre - WallingfordĮxcellent venue and exceptional Brantley performance as always!.I hope to see the performers again, but maybe at a different venue with a new set of audience. However it really was a short concert not having an encore, or even a chance for one as the audience seemed to get up very quickly. I was really impressed with the quality of the music, and everyone on stage were excellent performers. Rating: 3 out of 5 Good but short by Nick S on 2/13/23 Toyota Oakdale Theatre - Wallingford.Occasionally when he would talk, he sounded normal which made it seem like he didnt have any vocal injuries. It was as if he was trying to force his voice to be more gravely and perhaps deeper. Secondly, Brantley's voice didn't sound right compared to how normal when i hear him talk or the album versions of his songs. At times I couldn't even watch the show because of this. First was the visual, the wall of lights behind Brantley was so bright when shining white light, that it continuously hurt my eyes and gave me sunspots. I was disappointed in the concert for two main reasons. Rating: 3 out of 5 Dissappointing in sight and sound by TomCT on 2/14/23 Toyota Oakdale Theatre - Wallingford.I live in the same town he does and my son is friends with him I have been to all of his shows he’s great going this year in July Beer was $10.50 per bottle which was robbery but overall great venue. Just like its predecessor, 2017's The Devil Don't Sleep peaked at No. Gilbert consolidated his new-found success with wins at the ACMs and iHeartRadio Awards, and 2014's chart-topping Just As I Am, which also sold over one million copies and produced two more No. 1 singles, "You Don't Know Her Like I Do" and "Country Must Be Country Wide," both of which helped Gilbert pick up the CMA Triple Play Award in 2013. 4 on the Billboard 200 but also spawned two US Country No. Follow-up Halfway to Heaven arrived a year later, but only found a large audience in 2011 when it was reissued by Gilbert's new label, Valory Music Co. After initially performing as a solo acoustic artist, Gilbert assembled his own band to help bring his rowdy sound to life and in 2009 released his debut album, Modern Day Prodigal Son. As you'd expect, the Brantley Gilbert live experience is a loud and proud one, with his array of fist-pumping, foot-stomping anthems often accompanied by dazzling pyrotechnics, swirling lasers and LCD visuals.īorn in Jefferson, Georgia, in 1985, Gilbert grew up listening to a mix of Southern rock, alternative and country, but only decided to pursue a music career himself following a near-fatal truck accident at the age of 19. The self-proclaimed small-town guy has also barely left the road since emerging in the late '00s, supporting the likes of Willie Nelson, Toby Keith and Tim McGraw, as well as headlining his own tours: 2012's Hell on Wheels, 2016's Take It Outside and 2018's The Ones That Like Me. Combining the outlaw country of Eric Church with the blue-collar rock of Bruce Springsteen, Brantley Gilbert is one of the harder-edged names to emerge from the contemporary Nashville scene. ![]()
